Q   Who is M&M Designs?

A   M&M Designs is a small, home-grown business specializing in creating premium coats, collars, leashes and other delightful canine apparel. We are based in Overland Park, Kan. and have been in business for more than 4 years.

Q   How is M&M Designs different from other organizations who create premium collars and luxury dog apparel?

A   Simple, we do not keep our profits. We donate 100 percent - yes, you read that right, 100 PERCENT - of our profits to animal health research and adoption/rescue organizations. And no one at M&M draws a paycheck; we are all volunteers. Every coat or collar you purchase directly benefits a rescued dog or helps support the search for canine cancer cures.

Q   When can I expect shipment after placing a coat order?

A   We know you are excited to receive your order and we're excited for you! We try to fulfill orders as quickly as possible; however, we do not begin making your order until you place the order. All orders are first-come, first-serve. We will give you an approximate shipment date when you place your order. Q   What type of collars does M&M create? Are they for all dog breeds?

A   Our collars fit most dog breeds. You'll find breeds from Akitas to Otterhounds, Whippets to Weimaraners - and everything in between - wearing our fabulous collars. We specialize in the Martingale type collar, but if you have something special in mind, let's talk and see what we can do to meet your expectations. Our collars are sturdily constructed using premium materials, from stunning ribbons to velvets and brocade fabrics.

Q   Does M&M Designs have a brick and mortar store?

A   We do not. We primarily sell our products through our Web site and by word of mouth. We do, from time to time, go to events in the Kansas City area, such as arts and crafts festivals and fairs, and set up a booth. We'd love to see you at a coming event. Q   What animal organizations benefit from M&M Designs proceeds?

A   We donate 100 percent of our profits to GREYlong, a nonprofit fundraising organization that supports animal health studies through Morris Animal Foundation. Each year, GREYlong selects several studies they help sponsor. We also donate directly to Kansas and Missouri animal rescues and adoption organizations.

Q   Can I receive a bulk discount if I purchase multiple coats at one time?

A    While we would love to offer discounts, it isn't as simple as cutting prices for bulk orders. Regardless how many coats you order at one time, each one must be handcrafted to your specifications. The same amount of effort goes into every M&M Design product regardless if you order one or five. We also do not want to shortchange the animal health research and rescue/adoption organizations - who receive 100 percent of our profits. They have come to rely on our continued support.

Q    Do you ship your products outside the United States?
